Millie’s Profile

I qualified in 2004 from the University of the West of England with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy and specialised in neurological conditions in 2007.

I started my career in a large teaching hospital in Bristol where I quickly developed a special interest in neurology. I have been fortunate to gain extensive clinical experience in this field. I have worked in specialist community services including Stroke Early Supported Discharge, Acquired Brain Injury, a regional Spinal Cord Injury Centre and a specialist team for people with Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease. I have worked with people at every stage of their condition in both acquired and progressive neurology.

I have completed numerous postgraduate training courses including The Bobath Concept, splinting, hydrotherapy and Pilates, always ensuring that I keep up to date with recent advancements in physiotherapy practice and current research.

I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology (ACPIN).
